The doctor accused of inappropriately touching more than a dozen female patients is scheduled for trial next month.
The 42-year-old was arrested last year at his private practice after former patients told police he fondled their breasts and performed other inappropriate acts during office visits. More women later stepped forward with similar claims and more charges were filed against the doctor.
Four of the five women who took the stand said the man touched or attempted to touch their breasts. A fifth said he pressed his genitals against her and stared down her blouse while she was being treated for neck pain.
He was bound over for court on six counts of indecent assault and six counts of harassment by physical contact after the first preliminary hearing. Two counts of indecent assault and two counts of harassment were with drawn because a witness who moved did not appear to testify.
After the first arrest, eight more women stepped forward with similar claims.
The women, ranging in age from 19 to 40-something, said the man touched them inappropriately at office visits.
A second preliminary hearing was held on the new charges against him including 11 counts of indecent assault and 11 counts of harassment.
A little over a month after his first preliminary hearing, he announced he was closing his practice "due to the loss of office lease."
He claims the allegations against him are false.
