A 54-year-old man who allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted two teenage girls in his home was arrested.
He was charged with two counts of felony kidnapping and one count of felony unlawful restraint. He was also charged with three misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and a summary charge of harassment.
He was arraigned and committed to county prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
In his affidavit of probable cause, the arresting office said he received a call from the school district reporting that two juvenile females had been sexually assaulted the night before after leaving a school function.
The officer said that the girls, ages 13 and 14, came to the police station with their mothers to report the incident.
The girls said they were walking down the street around 6 p.m. when one of them dropped a folder she was carrying.
The officer said the girls told him a man came out of his residence, grabbed the folder and returned to his home, refusing to give it back.
The girls said they returned to the home around 8 p.m. and knocked on the door in an attempt to retrieve the folder.
The officer said the man opened the door, grabbed the 14-year-old by the arm, pulled her into the house and locked her in a bathroom. The officer said the 13-year-old entered the home to try and help. The man allegedly closed the door and put a chair against the knob.
The officer said the man inappropriately touched the girls before the 13-year-old kicked him in the leg, allowing the teens to flee after being inside for about 30 minutes.
The officer said that prior to leaving the home, the 13-year-old was trying to grab a pencil from a desk to defend herself with but was able to grab only a business card and a cellular telephone.
After fleeing the home, the officer said the 13-year-old noticed the man’s first name on the business card as well as pictures of nude women on the cell phone. |
