A former county public defender already charged with child molestation has been charged anew with having child pornography on his county-issued laptop.
The county district attorney said investigators found more than 400 images of child pornography on the man’s computer.
He waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody.
The 31-year-old resigned in March and was charged in June with sexually molesting a girl for several years, from the time she was 7 until she was 11.
The man said it was a case of mistaken identity but was held for trial on more than 300 charges, including rape and aggravated indecent assault. |
